Filipina actress and singer Nadine Lustre was spotted at the Shinsegae Duty Free Branch at Myeong-dong, South Korea. She was seen in the middle of a music video shooting alongside her boyfriend James Reid. According to an article written for the Korean Duty Free’s website, the actress was spotted by the Mirror Carousel located within Duty Free, one of the shop’s main attractions first shown in 2016.
The article labelled the young Filipina star as the “Beyoncé of Southeast Asia,” referring mainly to her large fan following as well as her versatility as an actress, singer and music video director, to name a few, akin to the real Beyoncé who, through the years, has also ventured into acting and business apart from being a singer. It went on to praise the actress for her contributions to the entertainment industry, the accolades she received this year, and for making it into TC Candler’s “100 Most Beautiful Faces List” last year.
The label given to the actress met positive reactions amongst fans. Her other admirers, however, were not too fond of the Filipina practically being called the Asian Beyoncé.
Just a few months ago, Nadine and James released their duet song together entitled “Summer,” which was accompanied by a music video. So far, the video has 2 Million views on YouTube. Since then, JaDine fans have been looking forward to another duet by the two stars.
