Oscars award-winning star, Rami Malek is set to take on the role of James Bond for the upcoming “Bond 25” film. While the film’s actual title is yet to be released, the stars have already been cast.
According to sources, Malek will play as Bond’s enemy. The creator of Fleabag, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has also been confirmed as the scriptwriter.
Rami Malek has received international fame from his role as Freddie Mercury in 2018’s much-awaited movie Bohemia Rhapsody. Since then, he’s been a highly acclaimed actor. Included in the roster of stars are Marvel’s Lashana Lynch and Aladdin’s Billy Magnussen.
On James Bond’s official Twitter page, Mercury sent out a video message to the film’s fans. He stated: “I’m stuck here in New York in production but I’m very much looking forward to joining the whole cast and crew… I will be making sure Mr. Bond does not have an easy ride in this, his 25th outing. See you all soon.”
Daniel Craig will still play James Bond; it has been presumed that it is his final reprise of the role.
