ABS-CBN TVplus’ KBO will bring the laughter to more Filipino homes as it features the TV premiere of Vice Ganda’s “Fantastica” for five days, starting May 1 – 5.
The 2018 MMFF entry features two of the country’s respected actors, Dingdong Dantes and Richard Gutierrez. Aside from the blockbuster trio, three of Kapamilya’s trending loveteams, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber, Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, and Kisses Delavin and Donny Pangilinan add kilig to the movie.
The movie revolves around Bellat (Vice) who is trying to save their family’s carnival, “Perya Wurtzbach,” from bankcruptcy, especially because this was the home she grew up in with her mother Fec (Jose), and adopted brothers Daks (Ronnie), Pepe (Edward), and Junjun (Donny).
Because of their debts, Bellat’s former best friend Dong Nam (Dingdong), tries to drive them away from their land. But even before it happens, Bellat agrees to an offer from Prince Pryce (Richard) to help him in exchange of finding the lost princesses of Fantastica – Rapunselya (Loisa), Maulan (Maymay), and Ariella (Kisses). He also needs to get 10,000 claps to open the portal to Fantastica.
“Fantastica” marks the debut of Barry Gonzales, who is the assistant director of Vice’s close friend and award-winning director Wenn Deramas. This is also Vice’s highest grossing film, dethroning “The Super Parental Guardians.”
Don’t miss the TV premiere of “Fantastica,” with 2018 film “Single Single:Love is Not Enough,” plus “Every Breath U Take,” “She’s The One,” “The Day After Valentines,” and “Resureksyon.”
