Ms. Lea expressed her condition on the said tweet and that her recovery will take longer than expected. “Disappointing fans is the last thing I would ever want to do, but I must take this time to get back into top shape. We’re working on rescheduling these shows and I can’t wait to see you all very soon,” she added.
On the video that she posted on Instagram, she initially said that the concerts will push through, she even humored that she would be sitting down more than she normally would. She even reassured her fans that she is okay and she can still sing.
On the following days, the actress has been active on social media to say her gratitude for the clinic which took care of her and her friends and supporters who had been sending her good wishes.
I would like to give a special shoutout and huge thank you to everyone at the Niseko International Clinic, most notably…
To everyone who took the time to send me a “get well soon” message, thank you so much! Your kindness is much appreciated and is aiding in my recovery!

In light of her experiences, Lea Salonga expressed her disappointment on her tweet saying how “un-PWD-friendly our metropolis is” and that she, who recently broke her leg, had it easy.
If there’s anything the last few days have given me, it’s a little perspective. Getting around on crutches and a wheelchair is hella difficult, and shows how un-PWD-friendly our metropolis is. And I already have it easy.
