101 years old, Panfila Pingul or “Mama Nene” of San Fernando, Pampanga remains an avid Kapamilya fan. She spends most of her day tuning into ABS-CBN, from “Umagang Kay Ganda” to “It’s Showtime,” “Kadenang Ginto,” and “Ang Probinsyano,” after which she would go to sleep. A true blue Kapamilya, she also likes to watch old programs in CineMo and Jeepney TV, and Star Cinema films in CinemaOne.

The grandmother recently had a Mother’s Day celebration to remember when Beauty Gonzalez, Dimples Romana, Francine Diaz, and Andrea Brillantes, the lead stars of the hit afternoon teleserye “Kadenang Ginto,” paid her a visit to bond with her and her family.
