10 Brave Celebrities Who Have Come Out To The Public

Spotlight

Only few countries around the world have legalized same-sex marriage. The first one that did was Denmark in 1989. And in the Philippines, it’s still a battle of rights and beliefs whether to legalize the said act. Though the battle for same-sex marriage is still on pend, there are celebrities who choose not to mind other people and chose to be true to their self and the world. Throughout the years, the LGBTQ community has garnered more support and awareness about their rights. However, there’s still a long way to go.

In time for the pride march, check out these celebrities who bravely came out and identified themselves as part of the LGBTQ:

1. Aiza Seguerra

Former child star and Filipino renowned singer, Aiza Seguerra came out as a transgender man last 2014, the same year he got married with his wife, Liza Diño in San Francisco, USA. Just like all celebrities who came out as part of the LGBTQ, Aiza suffered from hateful comments and names. But he did not let it ruin his life, instead he fought for the rights of other LGBTQ members.
